What I should have packed….

Looking back, it is not what I should have packed, it is what I should have packed it in.

As an expat it can generally mean you are in a temporary location working or going to school. If you are staying for a long period of time and you want to pack all the things you think you may need, it requires a lot of suitcases and usually storage can be an issue in most homes.

The use of the vintage suitcases and trunks as part of your home decor and storage can be a great solution.

I hope you will be as inspired as I am on the great uses of vintage suitcases and trunks.

  1. Brilliant! Love this idea, great inspiration as usual! 🙂

  2. I read. I smile. Inslpiring. I nominate you for the Linking Hearts Liebster Award. I hope you accept it. Here’s a link for info about the award: http://sheilamariegrimes.com/linking-hearts-through-award-nominations-another-liebster/

    • Thank you very much. You are a true inspiration and I am humbled by your nomination. Knowing that you left your career and moved to take care of your mother and then moving her to your home to take care of her after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. You are a true role model, whether you want to believe or feel you are.

May you have beautiful days ahead with your mother.

      Respectfully yours,

      Constance

    Yes. Love.

  4. Beautiful and inspiring post!
It takes mind, creativeness and lots of skill to pack specially when on a constant move and or being away from home.
The success of my constant globe trotter work related journeys is due thankfully to always being sent away with a little piece of home.
At the end the most amazing part of all is always coming home to those I love so dear.
